To celebrate our 300th meeting the Barossa Writers met
Linfield Road Wines Cellar Door in Williamstown in August 2014.
We enjoyed meeting in this attractive venue and
stayed on after the meeting for a delicious lunch.
Thanks very much to Doug Jones for organising
the venue and lunch.
The Barossa Writers are a small, friendly group of writers who meet each month to share, discuss and practice writing in a supportive environment.
Members write in many different genres. Some are published authors, some have won awards and others write simply for enjoyment.
A monthly newsletter features members' writing and other information of interest. Guest Speakers and/or workshops are included in the annual programme.
The group has published five anthologies of members' work and
has organised very successful Young Writers' Competitions for Primary School children.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.
in the Meeting Room behind the Lyndoch Library.
Whatever your style, whatever your genre, new members, whether experienced writers, beginners
or somewhere in between
are most welcome.
